OK...we love Olivia at our house and I know many of your little girls do too! So, I am trying out a new Olivia fabric from Andover. It is equally as adorable as the last but new and unique and bright colored for spring! It features Olivia images and some Olivia-esque phrases such as "Never understimate the importance of ENTHUSIASM!", and "Red is the very best color for absolutely, positively everything!" The red and yellow color palette on a cream background is perfect. I paired it with a red and cream stripe and finished it off with some red ribbons on the shoulders. Who wants one?

"It is fun to have fun..."
"...but you have to know how!" ~ The Cat in the Hat
This fabric is so FUN! It is made by Robert Kaufman fabrics and the whole line is bright, vivid, cheerful and FUN! I have played around and made two dresses, one for each of my girls and they have had SO many complements on them.
The first dress is a pinafore style dress in Cat in the Hat fabric. I love the red, white and blue color scheme on this dress. It is adorable with a criss-cross back and straps that button on the shoulders. The great thing about this dress is that it is also REVERSIBLE making 2 dresses in one. I like to put matching bloomers with it and maybe some sparkle shoes :)

The second is a pillowcase dress with characters from MANY Dr. Seuss books. Horton, the Lorax, the Grinch, Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham are just a few!

Olivia Does Everything Well...
I love this fabric...and apparantly you all do too! I have been feeling the love for Olivia out there. Unfortunately, this fabric was printed in 2007 (yikes!) and I was fortunate to find a bolt of it in a local fabric store. I bought everything that was left and made MANY Olivia dresses...and even a custom peasant top! And now I am down to an amount for just ONE MORE dress...I am sad. So, what other characters are your children into these days? I would love to hunt sown some more fun fabric to please the kiddo in your life :) Ideas please!

Customer Appreciation Photos
I have been meaning to post some of these for a while. I LOVE to see other children in creations that I have made. It makes me smile to see them and hear stories of how they love their clothes. It makes me so happy to watch my oldest daughter choose one of my dresses over her store bought clothes to wear to church on Sunday mornings. I know that may not last long and I am one proud mama :) If you have any pictures of your little ones in "WonderfullyMade" creations and don't mind sharing...please send them along!

Still Creating!
Sorry for the lapse in posts. It has been a month of significant loss in our family and I have been figuring out my new normal. But, in the midst of crisis I have learned that I sew and sew and sew some more! So, my sewing machine has not been idle...only my computer :) Here are a few holiday items that I have made in the last month or so for gifts, my kids, for etsy and custom orders!
Hope your Christmas season is turning out to be merry and bright. If I can make something for your little one this holiday please message me. These items are great gift items as well!
* remembered! Robert Kaufman's Sparkle all the way line.

Another double layer twirl skirt in...that's terrible...I can't even remember who this designer is. Unusual for me since dreams of designer fabric dance in my head each night! |

Introducing...
The first long awaited Christmas Dress! I have had a very hard time finding fabric that I feel is vintage enough, sweet enough, not too cheesy, not too Christmasy, but still Christmas...and this is what I have come up with! The 12 Days of Christmas in a sweet, vintage, maids-a-milking kind of dress. LOVE!
The fabric is a simply sweet toile with an ivory background and teal, black, olive and red accents depicting the 12 days of Christmas.
Is is designed by Sharon Sowell for Clothworks and it is HARD TO FIND! So, if you are interested in this dress you need to let me know ASAP :) It features a round apron with a red or teal bias edge (depending on the sleeve color). I am going to make my older daughter this dress with teal sleeves to change it up a bit. The back ties for a vintage look. Finally...the apron is embellished with hand designed ornaments for the final holiday touch. This dress will sell for $50.
Merry Christmas!
